  • Newport Town Council is situated in the historic Guildhall, a grade ll* listed building on the High Street. Opening hours are between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 pm. Monday to Friday. The Town Council is reponsible for a wide range of local services including Allotments, Cemetery, Footway Lighting, Public Conveniences. The Guildhall is also Licensed for Civil Weddings, Baby Naming Ceremonies, Commitment Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows.
