  • We meet in the Village Hall in Yarpole, to discuss our live projects. Membership is free, & open to all. You can join the FRIENDS of LIVING HISTORY, when you will receive copies of our newsletters & copies of our publications (normally 1 or 2 pages). We have already published several items on e.g. the origins of the parish, the early settlers, glow worms, the High Brown Fritillary butterfly, & parish pumps. We have others in the pipeline - the parish bier, stories from the War Memorials, wildflowers of the parish hedgerows, mediaeval church tiles, etc. etc. We are planning a website. Look out for our next meeting in the diary.
