  • Godstone Gardeners Club is a very popular village organisation with close to 100 members. It meets in the White Hart Barn, Godstone at 8.00pm on the first Wednesday of each month. The club year runs from December to the following November and Members pay an annual subscription of �5.00, visitors are also welcome at �1.00 per visit. The monthly meetings usually feature an illustrated talk on a wide ranging series of topics which are all garden related. In addition there are refreshments, a raffle, members competions and the chance to just "chat" to others with similar interests.The club year also contains an Annual Daffodil Show in spring (against a local club from a nearby village) a grand Summer show, an Annual Plant Sale and some outings to interesting garden-type venues in the South East.In 2000 the club won a Bronze medal at Chelsea in the RHS Courtyard Gardens competition and in 2003 a Bronze in the Basket and Box competion at RHS Hampton Court. In other words we are an active club BUT don't let that put you off!! You are very welcome to come to meetings and just sit and listen!
