  • Following the packed out Barn Dance in Otford Church Hall for Folk Dance Club & Friends on Satarday 7th June �430.00 was divided between MacMillan Nursing & The Heart of Kent Hospice. Our thanks go out to all who supported this event.On Thursday 26th June 2003 Roger Letley & Jack Hamilton are booked to play their own brand of lively music, in Otford Church Hall with callers Eddie & MorrisOn July 31st The Odd Bodds are playing to give our dancers a good evening of music to dance to with some of their own arrangements of traditional and contemporary tunes.The regular "Thursday Nights" run from 8pm and mostly finish at 10pm. Admission & Membership is �1.50 The first visit is FREE! including Tea/Coffee and biscuits. We have dancing to calling by Eddie and Morris, each usually taking half the evening. But the last Thursday in the month they are supported by visiting callers or musicians. There are also the occasional bigger dances, details on the Club website. Enjoyment takes first place over skill. Don?t be put off because you can?t commit to regular visits. We have over 100 members, many of whom just come from time to time when they can.
