Further Description
  • Wildlife Aid, based in Leatherhead, is a charity dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Our aim is to return the animals in our care back to the wild. Dealing with over 12,000 wildlife incidents a year, we are probably one of the largest and most successful wildlife rehabilitation centres in the country. The centre is open 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. The centre is staffed almost entirely by volunteers and we always have opportunities for anyone wishing to volunteer some of their time to help our native wildlife.Wildlife Aid also has a strong educational remit and is available, for a small donation, to give talks to schools, societies or groups. We also run a 24 hour emergency helpline for wildlife enquiries and information - 09061 800132. Please see our website for more information on Wildlife Aid, online volunteer application form, mebership details, adopt an animal scheme and geneeral wildlife information.
