  • The Lions of The Goring, Woodcote & DISTRICT Lions Club are part of the worldwide organisation of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest community service club, whilst remaining a local organisation.Lions believe that those who live in a community are best placed to know how to help those in need in the community. This help can extend from supporting & helping with youth projects, taking the elderly on days out, even as far as France, to projects which include collecting spectacles and complete dentist surgeries for re-use in the developing world.One of our latest projects is the Message In a Bottle scheme, which aids the Emergency Services identify unconscious householders & what medication they may be taking.
