  • Bamford and District Gardening SocietyIn August the Society hosts it?s Annual Show at the Bamford Institute. This year the committee has decided to include an Open Section for all Hope Valley Exhibitors with classes for flowers/fruit/vegetables and wine.Classes exclusively designated for Bamford and District exhibitors show a number of changes from previous years to fall in line with current horticultural and artistic trends. Schedules will be available in late June/early July. Your support on the day either by way of exhibits, a visit to the show or participating in the auction of produce would be appreciated.In conjunction with the Carnival Committee the Society judges the village hanging basket competition. Other events are being organised so please look out for further notifications and come along to support.
