  • The first Monthly General Meeting of 2010 of Ledbury & District U3A will take place this coming Thursday, 21 January at the Community Hall, Lawnside Road, Ledbury. As usual, refreshments will be available between 2pm and 2.20pm with the meeting proper commencing at 2.30pm where we shall be pleased to welcome our speaker, Dr Dennis Williams, whose topic is "Aviation Archaeology in South Wales and the Marches". He will talk about planes and people, bomber training and wrecks found on the high ground in our area.

    Looking ahead:

    In February, we shall be having a talk by Ray Sturdy on "Brunel, a Victorian Genius" and in March, Dr Alan Welsh will be presenting "One Envelope, Many Lives" (family history research).
