  • The Cumbria Drama Festival is a preliminary round of the All England Theatre Festival - the nationwide knock-out competition for amateur drama groups. This year's festival will be held at the Victoria Hall on Saturday, March 13th. The first session, consisting of two one-act plays, starts at 5.30 pm (doors open 5 pm). The second session, consisting of three one-act plays plus adjudication and presentation of trophies, starts at 7.15 pm (doors open 6.55 pm). The adjudicator is Andrew Rawlinson, GoDA. Admission: £8 for both sessions, £6 for the 2nd session only. Reduced rates for OAPs and juniors.
