  • Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June 1.00 to 6.00pm

    Over 1500 visitors came to our event in 2009, enjoying two days of beautiful, warm sunshine in this pretty Worcestershire village, nestling in the shadow of Bredon Hill. This year we expect to have over 20 delightful gardens in a wide variety of styles and sizes for you to enjoy, some open for the first time.

    *Garden Enthusiasts*

    In Ashton you will see gardens designed and maintained by enthusiasts like you, facing all the familiar challenges of climate, location, soil, and of course the same garden pests! They will be happy to discuss their choice of plants and shrubs, their successes and their failures; they would also be interested to hear about your own gardening experiences.

    *Refreshments and Plant Sales*

    When you feel the need for rest and relaxation you will be able to enjoy some quality refreshments: lunches from 12:30 pm, cream teas from 2.00pm, afternoon teas in the Village Hall or Free Church, or the full menu in our village pub, The Star. There will also be the opportunity for you to buy a wide selection of quality plants, and exhibitions and displays will have a wildlife theme. For our younger visitors there will be a Wildlife Trail.

    *Admission Prices Held*

    Gardens will be open from 1.00pm to 6.00pm on both days. Admission to the event remains at just £4.00 per person, children free, and Saturday tickets are also valid for Sunday. Free use of the special bus service throughout the village is included, allowing you time to see all of the gardens at your leisure. There’s also ample free parking for cars and coaches.

    *Discounts for Group Bookings*

    We are pleased to offer discounted tickets at £3.50 per person for a party of 10 or more, if booked in advance. An additional discount is available on Sunday: one free ticket for every party over 20 people.
