  • The Potton Music Festival, now in its seventh year, once again brings the world class musicians of the Marais Ensemble, along with outstanding guest string players, to Potton, Cockayne Hatley and, new for this year, All Saints Church in Sutton.

    The 2010 festival comprises three chamber concerts and a Family Concert, and explores the rich and varied chamber music repertoire for wind, strings, piano and harpsichord.

    In addition to concerts during the festival period, the Marais Ensemble runs education workshops in local schools and informal concerts in community venues including residential homes in the Potton area.

    In 2009 the Festival and associated outreach work were generously supported by Grassroots Grants, Potton Consolidated Charities, Central Bedfordshire Council, Potton Town Council, Gamlingay Parish Council and the Kier Group.
