  • A unique business set-up in 1994 by artist/sculptor Heather Sweet. An experience ceramic sculptor she now works with sugar always aiming to produce unique designs to suit the individual customer. Extremely popular are her individual Belgian chocolate cups filled with cake and truffle for any occasion and her bespoke, handmade, clay cake toppers which can be collected from Codsall or are also available by mail order.
    Want something totally different and special? Heathers unique, wacky sugar sculptures are wacky representations of brides and grooms from 18” to 3 feet tall.
    Heather has also produced sugar sculptures for Ready Steady Cook and Midlands Today TV programmes, for singer Matt Willis and model Emma Griffiths, Ainsley Harriott, singer Gareth Gates’s wedding cake, cakes for British Telecom, Carillion. Heathers’ huge sugar sculptures have been exhibited in many prestigious art galleries all over UK.

    This year, 2010, Heather has returned to her love of teaching others how to make sugar models often reflecting her sense of humour in the design.
    5 week courses in Codsall/Bilbrook, West Midlands @ £35
    Ingredients/tools are not provided. Free tea and coffee
    The classes last for 2 hours a week and are held in Codsall village hall, near
    Wolverhampton.

    Weekend workshops @ £40 1pm – 5pm
    Loan of equipment and all materials are provided for you along with tea, coffee and biscuits. Small group ensures individual attention. Just bring an apron, box to carry items home and your enthusiasm and humour

    One to one tuition @ £20 hr
    You choose what you want to learn and how much time you have for the session. You book by the hour, for as many/as few sessions as you like. It’s up to you. Unlimited tea and coffee provided.
