  • Hello my name is Karen and I’m the group leader.
    Having lost weight with Weight Watchers previously, (before I got married and had 2 children) I had been trying to lose my 4½ stone at home. After losing 2 stone over a year no more seemed to be coming off and I realised I needed the help of a group so I went along to my local Weight Watchers meeting in January 1999. My final 2½ stone took until August 1999 when I became a Gold Member. Weight Watchers gave me control over what I was eating, I could have all of my favourite foods as nothing was forbidden and the motivation was now there to carry on.. To maintain my weight loss I still follow the programme yes we all go up and down a bit but this is not a ‘Diet’ it is a healthy living life style choice. I decided I wanted to help and support others and became a leader in 2000, I currently run 4 successful Weight Watchers groups which have lost 167stone in just 11 weeks so far this year.. WOW.
