  • The Claverdon Parish Council is the Local Government Authority for The Village, and come under the umbrella of The Stratford District Council. Seven Council Members are elected on a four year cycle, although at the present time there is one vacancy, due to one of the members resigning his position earlier this year. The Current Members are :-
    Councillor Alan Latter (Chairman)
    Councillor Simon Lawton (Vice Chairman)
    Councillor Michael Wilcox (RFO)
    Councillor Tony Rodger
    Councillor Kath. Kaveney
    Councillor John Stark
    Councillor Michael Wilcox.

    Council Meetings are normally held on the first Monday of the month, at the Dorothea Mitchell Hall, Station Road, with the exception of August, when no meeting is held, and in May in a year when there is an election affecting the Council, when the meeting is held after that has occurred. The Annual Parish Meeting is also held in May, co-incidentally with the Council Meeting.

    A Notice of the date for the next meeting is attached, and outline agendas will be added approximately one week in advance of the date of the meeting.
