  • We have loads of young people in the Calder Vale area who would like their Cub Scout Pack to re-open - to do this we need some adults to help in running the activities. We are looking for fun loving, energetic, creative thinkers to work with our team to provide fun, adventure and new challenges for the young people who attend the sessions.

    You need to be able to commit to 1 night a week during term time and occasional weekends to take part in trips, outings and other activities.

    In return we can offer full training, a great deal of fun and opportunities to be young again. No previous experience in Scouting is required, but you will need to undertake an enhanced CRB check and references. Remuneration is the standard rate for volunteers (£0 for the love of it !)

    We are the largest co-ed youth organisation in the UK. This isn't the only group that needs support in the area, so please contact me if you are interested in helping us in the Calder Vale area.
