  • Warley in West Yorkshire is at the gateway to the stunning scenery of the Calder Valley. Mentioned in the Domesday book it is one of the oldest settlements on the steeply sloping valley side. It has a thriving Community Association which improves the village centre (2010 Silver Medal winner in Yorkshire in Bloom) and a newly formed Local History Society, which has already produced a very professional video, published a book and mounted a local history exhibition.
