  • The Village Hall Management Committee held its 51st AGM on 6th June 2011.

    The chairman, Clive Arthey, reported that 2010-29011 had been another good year for the Village Hall. Regular users include pilates, yoga, quilting, table tennis and fortnightly jazz sessions. Income from the hall hire was over £3000. However, the running costs of the hall continue to rise, including increases in our fixed rate electricity tariff and last year's introduction of business rates for village halls.

    During the year we arranged the village supper and our annual quiz raised £319.

    Sarah Miller was welcomed to the committee. Heather Gray and Michael Moore stood down. An additional committee member with fresh ideas is being sought - contact Mabel at 01449 740 789 or mabel1@btinternet.com.
