  • We hold weekly sessions for parents/carers/nannies to bring your children 9 months - 5 yrs to carry out arts, crafts and messy play all based around the Early years foundation six areas of learning :
    Each hourly session is themed and the artwork and messy play is set around each theme, aiming for the development of your child. This does not mean that you won't have fun because our motto is "Fun, fun, fun". You also get the chance to meet other parents/carers and you get more bonding time with your child.
    Each activity involves some painting, Gluing, sticking. Messy play can be anything from sand, water, mud, foam, to baked beans, spaghetti, icing, tea set with real tea !!! each week is different.
    Sometimes it can be awkward at home to carry out messy tasks (I know with my own son) so if you come here you can leave the mess with us.
    Each child is given an apron, but advise to wear old clothes. All materials, glue and paints are carefully selected to be washable and non-toxic.
    We do accept babies from 6 months only we find that the parent/carer has to do a majority of the painting etc, messy play is definately a major learning arena for children under 1 and research by experts has found messy play to encourage fussy eaters to be more adventurous.
    We provide clean aprons and washing facilities.
    You can take all your childs artwork home to show off to family and friends!!!

    Tuesdays – Rowheath Pavilion, Bournville – 9.15 or 10.30 am

    Fridays – Catshill village hall, Catshill – 10.30 am

    £5.50 per session or if you register for term membership you get a Free session and lower price of £5.00 per session.
