  • My name is Claire Mercier and I am a certified massage therapist and hypnotherapist. I have always been interested in alternative therapies and believed in a holistic approach to human health, taking care of both the body and the mind.After a PhD in Microbiology and 3 years as a research scientist, during which I trained first in Swedish massage with ITEC, then as a hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner with Motivation Training in Inverness, I decided it was time to follow my passion for holistic therapies.I attend as many workshops and seminars as possible in order to constantly learn new techniques and find new ways to help people. For instance, I have attended workshops on reiki, kinesiology, and EFT, as well as further massage techniques (chair massage, natural life facial massage, abdominal massage...) and try to include these methods in my treatments when appropriate.I am based in Guildford, Surrey, but can travel to the following areas: Woking, Farnham, Farnborough, Aldershot, Bracknell, Crawley, Reigate, Dorking, Weybridge, Staines, Kingston, Croydon, Cranleigh, etc.
