  • The White Horse Inn is a traditional coahcing inn serving English food using local ingredients.  We have a dining room serving lunch and dinner daily.  Opening times are from 12 noon until 2.30pm and from 6pm in the evenings.  We also have a private dining room seating up to 24 guests.  Fish is sourced daily from Kirk Stribling on Aldeburgh beach and Pinney's smoke house in Orford.  Our livestock comes from local Suffolk farms and we also rear as much possible ourselves on a smallholding in Brandeston.  To date we have placed our own chicken and geese on the table.  In July we took delivery of our first piglets, curly coated Lincolnshire-style pigs imported from Hungary.  These are currently very rare in the UK (having died out here in 1972) and we hope to begin breeding them soon.  We are also very fortunate in having a wealth of wild game from local shoots.
