  • Elaine and Louis arrived in Buckinghamshire in April 2007 and have been hard working to bring The Black Cat back to it's former glory, a traditional pub serving good real ales and great food in a friendly atmosphere. We have gained a few accolades of which are very proud...5-star kitchen awarded by Chiltern District Council, Cask Marque beers, voted into The Good Beer Guide 2011 and 2012, and runners-up in The Country Pub section of the Camra pub of the year.
    Full English Breakfasts are served from 9o'clock Mon-Saturday, with a take away menu of hot crusty baguettes/sandwiches for those on the move.Popular Pub Fayre, is on offer lunchtimes and evenings offering traditional 'pub grub' with Homemade Steak and Guinness Pie the winning favourite.Sunday Roasts are proving to be so popular that bookings are strongly advisable, Home made Roast dinner with Roast and new potattoes and a selection of locally sourced vegetables and yorkshire pudding for only £8.50.Louis' Lounge/function roomis also available for private dinners, funeral teas, parties and meetings etc. Every Thursday is quiz night.We ARE different, come and try us.
