  • A well established country village pub, pre-dating the Trent and Mersey canal with a warm and friendly welcome to all. The pub is situated directly on the canal at bridge 58, with easy access from the canal for boaters and walkers. It remains one of the few unspoilt village hostelries nestling in glorious countryside in southern Staffordshire a warm welcome, roaring fires, traditional ales and delicious food using the best local produce awaits you. The pub serves a good selection of real ales and freshly prepared home-cooked food. We take great pride in our approach to the food served and our friendly service. We are proud of our relationship with our suppliers, our entire menu is sourced responsibly & where possible locally. Families are always welcome and well behaved dogs are also welcome.There is ample car parking, and a large canal side beer garden.
