  • Welcome to The Red Lion The Red Lion can be found in the small village of Chinnor, which is located right in the heart of the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. We are a traditional English pub which has appeared in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide since 2006 - listed with four real ales and are Cask Marque approved, the only pub in Chinnor to have both approvals. We have a menu to suit most tastes. Choose a wine from our fine selection to accompany your meal, which can be eaten inside or in the summer months outside on our garden terrace.We can also provide a fully stocked and staffed outside bar for parties, weddings etc. We specialise in real ales and will tailor the bar to your requirements. We cover Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire & Berkshire. If there are more than 60 guests we do not charge for this service, if however there are under 60 we just charge for the bar staff wages. We also hold the licence for Chinnor Village Hall, so any parties booked there do not need the additional fee of £21 for an alcohol licence.
