  • The Guesthouse at Eskbank  is a sleepy hollow unlicensed upmarket family friendly dalkeith B&B  which benefited from a  £1/3 M extensions and refurbishment in 2004.  The MacRaes aim was to  ensure  immaculate housekeeping and excellent plumbing without being prissy.The garden is a secluded sheltered suntrap. The parking is in the grounds.   The BUS  to Edinburgh (3)  goes every 10 minutes during the day from  20 metres from the driveway. ...In the evening every half an hour  after 8.30pm.The  food at breakies is pretty special.They  are  low profile and guestfriendly  but you may come accross a liver Flatcoated Retreiver in the garden.Winners of Scottish Thistle award  2002 - Highly Commended by Discover Travel and Tours 2008 - Golden teapot awrards 2000 - 2008 ... based on guest perceptions of quality
