  • The Sandwich Bookshop has been open since 27th September 2004 in the Cinque Port of Sandwich, Kent. Our premises at 60 King Street are a unique setting for a book shop after trading for many years as Rose's Supply Stores before periods as an antique store and a flower shop before becoming the home of The Sandwich Bookshop. Restored and preserved in the manner of the orginal Rose's, entering the shop is like taking a step back in time. The clock has been stopped at ten past three for many moons and time really does seem to stand still when you browse the thousands of titles on offer. As well as a broad selection of new book titles across a broad array of subjects, The Sandwich Bookshop also carries greetings cards, toys, games, and a range of Putumayo world music and Naxos classical music on CD. A full book ordering service is available - including researching that long lost favourite that you just can't seem to find anywhere else.Drop by and browse at your leisure, relax in our leather arm chairs while reviewing the latest releases.
