  • TaRhyRo - The African ConnectionWe have opened a centre where clients can get Reiki, have a massage, have their Angel cards read or have their auras read and their chakras cleared & balanced. This centre also has a retail section where those clients & others can purchase crystals, angel cards, spiritual cd’s & books & other similar & appropriate wares that are complimentary to the services offered.About usHaydn & Caryn and our eldest son Rhys, since finding our life purposes, have been practicing Reiki, Angel Card Reading, Aura Reading, Home Energy Clearings and Life Coaching in Johannesburg ~ South Africa. This has gone on, albeit informally from home, for 2 years with many happy clients & a number that return regularly. Now in Swansea, we are looking to bring this beautiful experience to this magnificent area & we know that our clients will not be disappointed with our service.We have discovered that in South Wales, people are even more open to holistic treatments and there is a much larger esoteric consciousness than in South Africa. This is, after all, the land that gave us King Arthur & Merlin. It is the land of dragons & knights & visionaries like Dylan Thomas. We have also discovered in our research that the Welsh have a certain affinity to South Africa & South Africans. It may be the shared passion for rugby or religion, it may be that they both have mining in the soul, whatever it is, we have been welcomed to this area like long lost family & we are sure that we will get support. Why nowIt is widely accepted that the United Kingdom, like the rest of the western world, is going through a recession. People are being retrenched & the number of available jobs has shrunk significantly. We ourselves have felt this first hand. At the same time, there is a growing interest, worldwide, in life coaching, in looking after the self & our offering meets this need. We believe that people will come to us for more than just Reiki & buying our wares. We think the life coaching will automatically follow things like the angel card readings & aura readings. We also feel that this is the perfect time for individuals to start their own business instead relying on corporate employment. We believe we should support the economy rather than feed off it. The African ConnectionOur intention is to create an environment which shows our African roots & the connection to Wales hence the name. We are sure that clients will be enticed by the welcoming smell of incense & the promise of an escape from the hectic life outside. We will be able to interest them in the retail offerings, a quick lunch time break session of our treatments but more importantly in Reiki sessions, energy healing, chakra balancing & clearing, angel card readings, aura readings & interpretation & many other services.   We will capture the essence, sounds & smells of Africa which we know will capture the minds & hearts of the people of Swansea. Having said that, we will embrace the spirit of Wales & will marry the two together in an environment which is fascinating, welcoming & leaves the person feeling great after his or her experience.What we offer We will be offering this from our lovely home in Cockett but we are happy to travel to clients who might prefer to have the service in their own home or at their hotel. We also offer to collect clients from the station in Swansea if necessary as we will have clients that come in from Cardiff, Bridgend, Port Talbot & can only come in by train. We believe as our name travels so will our clientele and we are not far from the Swansea station. We will have a retail section for selling related books, cds, oils, candles, incense, crystals, wind chimes & anything else appropriate that basically extends out of our holistic service
