  • Sole Bay Cheeses sell the biggest range of cheese in East Anglia. We always have at least 70 cheeses in any given week, including cow, goat and sheep cheeses from anywhere from Spain to Southwold. We have Italian smoked cheese and Welsh cumin cheese, at least 15 blue cheeses and always a minimum of four good cheddars.Even so, this much choice can be confusing, so we prefer it if our customers actually taste our cheses first, so they can be sure they've got what they want. Actually, we don't prefer it, usually we insist. And we don't do grammes either. In fact, we don't do ounces. Instead, we ask our customers how big a piece they would like, because your cheeseboard probably isn't calibrated for weights, but you'll know if the piece is big enough.Find us at Woodbridge or Halesworth market on Wednesdays and Thursdays, at Halesworth and Easton farmers markets, and other events as well. Alternatively, visit our website or just phone us and we will see what we can do for you. We are always happy to make up cheese courses, hampers, dinner parties or cheese platters for any event for any number. And we'll make sure you get the cheese you want, the best one for you, without any pretentious cheesey language and foody magazine hype. We won't ask whether you can taste leather, mushrooms, blackcurrants and the merest hint of shampoo - just whether you like it or not and we'll leave the rest to you. Come and see us or call us.
