Further Description
  • At Barking Mad we arrange for pets to stay with select, loving host families who have satisfied, without exception, our meticulous criteria and whom are genuine pet lovers with full insurance. Pets enjoy·     One to one care and attention·     Maintained home life routine for exercising and feeding·     Co-ordinated hassle free collection and delivery Barking Mad is a unique service where pets are cared for in a home environment by a select host family, where their daily routine for exercising and feeding is maintained.  Relying on friends and family or choosing kennels, have historically been the most obvious choices, but what if these options are not available or suitable? Our service eliminates the need to place pets in an alien kennel environment or to leave them at short notice with ill prepared neighbours or family, thereby reducing associated anxiety. We offer a complete service including the collection and delivery of pets, and we always keep our customers regularly updated which is, of course, most reassuring. Barking Mad is taking the lead and offering a helping hand – or paw! We provide a service tailored to customers’ needs. We are also looking for families who would like to act as ‘hosts’ and are willing to welcome a visiting dog into their home.  The dog brings with it it’s own food, bedding and toys.  The host family is given a pet schedule which details the dog’s feeding and exercising routine, likes and dislikes etc.  Acting as a host can be very rewarding.  If a family for any reason is unable to have a dog of their own, they can enjoy the benefits of dog ownership on a part-time basis by becoming a host for Barking Mad.
