  • The Tatsu-Tora Dojo is the Academy for the study of the art of Ninjutsu in Northamptonshire. As a student of the Tatsu Tora Dojo you will learn the following:Taijutsu: Unarmed combat including dakentaijutsu (Striking), Jutaijutsu (Grappling), Koppojutsu (Bone Breaking) and Koshijutsu (Muscle,Organ and Nerve attacking).Bojutsu: Staff method including the 6 foot rokushakubo and the 3 foot hanbo.Kenjutsu: Sword method including the daito (Long sword), Shoto (short sword), and tanto (Knife)Ongyojutsu: Considered to be the highest teachings of Ninjutsu these skills include intonjutsu (concealment), Shinobi Iri (Silent Movement) and Gotonpo (Escape and evasion)Genjutsu (Illusion, concepts of mysticism & deception strategy)These techniques have been studied from Japanese Grandmasters such as Dr Hatsumi, Shoto Tanemura and Fumon Tanaka, as well as Western masters such as Stephen K Hayes, Doron Navon and others over a 23 year period. The techniques are derived from the following 6 martial traditions:Togakure Ryu NinjutsuGyokko Ry KoshijutsuKoto Ryu KoppojutsuKukishinden Ryu Happo BikenTakagi Yoshin Ryu JutaijutsuShinden Fudo Ryu DakentaijutsuThe head teacher of the Tatsu-Tora Dojo holds black belts from several Ninjutsu organisations across the world. He has been studying for more than 23 years and is Home Office trained in control and restraint. An expolice officer he has direct experience of using the art of Ninjutsu in real life and death situations. In 2000 he was awarded a police commendation for using his martial arts in the arrest of a violent criminal.
