I am looking for information about Mary Ann Abraham who was born **1 May 1791 in Whitsbury. Her records indicate Whitsbury was in Wiltshire~ but is Whitsbury also in Hampshire? Modern maps seem to indicate this change. Mary Ann married Thomas Bench on 16 May 1812 in Whitsbury~ but each of their 8 children were born in Rockbourne of Hampshire. Internet maps indicate Whitsbury and Rockbourne are only 2.3 miles apart

I am looking for information on Clara Elkins who married Jesse Tanner at Fordingbridge~ Hampshire in 1875. They had a daughter Ivy Kathleen Tanner about 1896. Clara might have died in March 1901 at Fordingbridge~ Hampshire. Jesse and Ivy were still living at Fordingbridge at the time of the 1901 and 1911 census. Did Jesse and Clara have any other children? What was Jesse's occupation?

Thanks for reading this and if you have information regarding this part of the newman tree I would be glad to hear from you.**Researching family history~ have got back to around 1839 when Zebedee was born to Isaac and Pamela Newman**( nee Pointer ) in Outwich~ **The unsure part goes back to around 1720**I believe that Isaac father was John and his mothers name**is not known~ Johns father was also called Isaac who married**Jane Marks both born around 1720 **

I am a descendant of Emanuel Silsbury who was born in Godshill in about 1780. He married Elizabeth Moray/Movay born 1796 and they lived in the Isle of Wight. I do not know when the marriage took place.## I am trying to find out more information about Emanuel and his family. I can not find his parents names as yet or siblings. He ha done son I know of called Jacob Silsbury born 22 Sept 1837 in Isle of Wight. He came quite late in their lives so I am hoping there were other children before Jacob.## If anyone can help me with finding out more about this part of my family I would be very very grateful.## thank you in advance## Johanna

My family and I stayed in a wonderful cottage in Frogham Hill in 2006~ in spite of searching I cannot find it can anyone help me? The thatched cottage had a beautiful vast garden with a waterfall~ four rooms downstairs and 4 bedrooms at separate ends of the house~ it had many features~ a large kitchen with an aga~ utility~ feature fireplaces and vintage bathroom/toilet fittings.****My daughter is desperate to find the cottage again. Any help would be much appreciated

I AM RESEARCHING THE LIFE OF MRS SOPHIA (SOFIA) STANLEY **Her daughter was Theodora Christina Mallik wife of Jay Paul Mallik and she was also known as Theodora Jarvis.**Theodora was an architect.**The last address I have for her in the 1950's is TREETOPS~ FORGHAM~ FORDINGBRIDGE.**Could any body enlighten me~ are there local records and knowledge of Theodora and her family
