My father Bartholomew Haddon Saunders was a methodist minister in Norfolk and Suffolk about 1925. He was born to John Matthew Saunders and Elizabeth Haddon in Newfield~ Co. Durham in 1903. He lived in Fingringhoe when he met my mother about 1938~ Muriel Wash b. 1918 (to Jesse Walsh and Beatrice Roberts). He was widowed at the time and we have no info on his first wife.**If there are any possible Haddon~ Saunders or Walsh connections I'd love to hear! Email direct.******

Iam searching for an 'Ann Prince' ( birth name) born to a Joan Prince nee Hyem on 7th March 1945 in Heath House/Heath Hospital Tendring~ (Later adopted). At the time my Aunt~ Joan was living at 'Gilljean' Thorpe Road Kirby. Searching for a birth sibling born 7th March 1945 in Heath House/Heath Hospital Tendring born 'Ann Prince' (birth name)(later adopted) born to a Joan Prince nee Hyem who was living at 'Gilljean' Thorpe Road~ Kirby. Can anyone remember this house? in Kirby as i'm having trouble finding it. Hello from Queensland~ Australia.**My great grandmother was JANE GREEN youngest child of 4 to Robert Green and Sarah Watkins (who was from Wales.) **Robert Green was an "Ag Lab" and a Widower when he married Sarah at St Brides~ London in 1844. On their marriage cert he gave his father's name as Robert Green~ a Miller. I don't have any more on them~ but Robert jr's first wife was probably an Elizabeth Langlands~ as an Elizabeth Green died in Weeley in Dec 1841. Making it more difficult is the fact that Elizabeth was herself a widow when she married Robert in 1819 - as per some paid research by the Essex Records Office.**Would any one have knowledge of this little family? I'd dearly love to locate something else before my father passes on - he is now 90! Kind regards~ Julie.

Hello. Would anyone know of Robert Green born to Robert Green~ a Miller. I believe Robert jr was born in c1801 in Ardleigh as he gave on the 1851 census. Robert Green jr is my great great grandfather. His youngest child was my father's grandmother: Jane Rebekah Green. Robert's 4 children with wife no 2~ Sarah Watkins from Wales~ were all born in Heath Weeley and later went to St Osyth to live before they all seem to have travelled far and wide.**Regards~ Julie

His 2nd marriage~ to Sarah~ in 1844~ in London at St Brides~ has him recorded as being a WIDOWER. Alfred MARSDEN was a driver with a Field Company of Engineers during the First World War. He married Ivy Kathleen TANNER~ a munitions worker on 9/2/1918 at Knowle~ Bristol. His address at the time was Brightlingsea~ Colchester. Does anyone have any information about them? Is there any historical information about Brightlingsea from WW1?**Was there a munitions factory near there? I would like to hear from any relatives of Ivy TANNER.

Between 1955 & 1960 I spent many happy holidays in I believe "Threeways Cottage" owned by Fred and Marguerite White. It was a lovely old thatched cottage with out buildings facing a green and only a couple of farms and farm cottages nearby. I believe it was near Wix and some miles walk into Manningtree. Does anyone recall this place?

iam doin g research on the nayler family history most i have found in the greenstead colchester area frank nayler was my grandchildrens grt grt granfather he was afire man who was killed in afire in colchester about 1923 5 a plaque in the dutch quater i have wondered about as in my search i found could be naylers dutch church colchester 1600s as naylers were a big family is there anyone else reseaching this family
