I'm doing a family tree on the Sampson's; John Sampson born 1808,left England to travel to Australia, settling in Burra,South Austalia.He was traveling with his wife Grace Sampson (nee Gundry). and several children one being John born 1831.
So if anyone has any information regarding this family, could you please contact me. It will be very appreciated.

I have a Thomas Rowling whose parents are William Rowling & Margaret Jane Hocking who had a son named Honor Semmons in the Cornwall area (Of Crowan) back in the 1830's and William married Margaret Jane in Jan 1851.. I have another ancestor that goes from Thomas back to a John Rollan (from Lambeth~London) who married Ann Marie Bennett (fr: Lambeth~ London)... looking to see why the name change

I am looking for any information someone might be able to give me on my mother Elizabeth Violet Francis Nicholas~ born in St.Erth on december 4th 1909~ and on her ancestors. All I know~ up until 1945~ when I was born is that she {and I beleive her sister} were living with her uncle in Penzance at the time of the 1911 census~ and that her father apparently was a deep-sea diver.

My wife's family originated from Breage and she carries as a middle name Champion. We have a 4 times grandparent Benjamin Champion living possibly in Broadlane? Breage in the early 1800's. I believe he married Elizabeth Edwards In Dec 1828. His father was also Benjamin and his mother was Frances Rundell while his grandfather was possibly a William Champion~ but this bit's a little uncertain. Hallo~ my name is Gary Richards. I briefly went to the Sithney school in **1972. (For 6 months) I was 10 and in grade 5. My teacher was Mr. RICHARDS **(no relation) I was born in Australia but my father was born in Crowntown and **returned in 1972 for a holiday. I went to school with my two sisters~ Kerryn **and Karina. I lived near the DALE's and played soccer with Quentin and Mark **and their sister Jo. I also remember another girl named Clair and another **school friend named David. I had a very enjoyable stay at the school and have **some good memories of it. I still live in Australia in Queensland on the **Sunshine Coast. I found this site by chance and it brought back some **memories.
