My g.grandmother Mary Ann Brawn b. Monmouthshire wed George Hardy b. Thurstaston. Some of our Cheshire/Liverpool ancestral names are Hardy, Brawn, Jones, Griffiths, Williams, Betteley, Trueman, Smith, Davies, Longley, Hughson, Joanes, Jones. Am working on our family history but am looking for more information on John Griffiths who wed Mary Ann Williams in 1853 Thurstaston. Their daughter, Mary Ann Griffiths was 15 1/2 when she wed Samual Hardy in 1871 Thurstaston.

Am stuck with my John Griffiths research. He was born in 1828 and was illegitimate. He died in 1877. His occupation was blacksmith.

Can anybody help piece the jigsaw together please on my Griffiths side.

Williams - Trueman: William Williams b. 1807 Liverpool wed Martha Trueman b. 1809 in 1831 Heswall. Witnesses were William Williams (what relation was he?) and Anne Trueman.

I can't find anything on William Williams (either of them) born in Liverpool so would welcome help.

I know little about William Williams except

My grandmother~ and her family~ all came from Oxton/Prenton/Woodchurch/Frankby/Greasby~Thingwall/Landican~area in Cheshire~ now in Merseyside.****I never met any of my relations~ but have been doing our family tree~ would love to hear from any relation.****My great grandfather was John Williams~ born in Oxton c 1856~ he was married to Alice Ann Edwards~ born Liverpool c1860. They had nine children~ William James~ John Arthur~ Catherine Eleanor (my grandmother)~ her twin sister Alice~ Emma~ Elizabeth~ Charles~ Frank~ and one who I have not yet been able to find. **They did for some time live at 16 Holm Lane~ Oxton~ but I beleive this house has since been demolished.****Thanks for reading this.
