I am trying to complete some details in my Paternal Grand-Mothers line.** **I was wondering if there were any locals left of the Alexander`s ( also of Ropsley~ Lenton~ Edenham ). My Grand-mother was Rose Elizabeth~from Ingoldsby~ who married Arthur Creasey in 1904 at Ropsley.** **She had 3 brothers~ Thomas Isaac~who married Lilly Margaret Briggs~ George A~ and George Herbert.** **The children of Thomas Isaac were :-** **George Christopher**Peter David**Albert Ernest**Rose Kathleen**Margaret Jane**Ronald William** **Although these have long since died~ it would be great if there were some of my long lost relatives who may be willing to get in touch and hopefully fill in some blanks that I have come up against.** ** **Please could you circulate these details???????** **My address is**25 Rotherby Grove~**Peterborough~**Cambs.**PE1 4UX.** **Tel. 01733 894309**

I am from the States. My great-grand father~ George W. Mills**was born in Gonerby in 1847 and moved to the States around 1867. According to our family history our family home was called Pontem Hall. Not sure if that is the correct spelling. Does anyone know if the decendents of George W Mills family is still around. Does anyone know of Pontem Hall?****thank you****Rick Mills

hi**looking for information on the name of John Edward Morley~ he has his name on a ww1 plaque in the church~ he was killed in action in 1914~ in flanders. he lived in the village about 1912-14. Just before he went to war. his wife's surname was Smith before he married her.**any help most welcome.**colin

hi names colin**my gandfather and his wife lived in the village about 1913~ he was killed in the first world war in 1915~ his name was Harry Morley and his wife was Annie. she carried on living here till at least 1920. they lived near the school~ i think the house backed onto it.**any more info on harry ect would be most welcome.**colin

Have traced my Southern family tree back from Middleton Manchester to Denton Lincs. **From a William early 1600's through John 1628 other Johns Thomass etc.**Moving through Dry Doddington~ Long Bennington etc.to present day.****Are there still any Southerns in Denton?
