Hi there

I'm helping out a friend of a friend (Eugene Plant) - looking for the above man who would be aged around 50.

Lived in Haringay road in his teenage years.

Sisters Gina and Maxine.

Mother's name Pamela (known as Pam).

Lived next door to "The Quinns"

Worked at Hill Top (Hilltop) Golf Club in the 1990's.

Can anyone supply any information at all?

I am doing family history research for a high school classmate. ****She is the descendant of one Minnie (Willett) Fraser who came to the US in Jul 1909. On her immigration record it states that she was the daughter of George Willett of 30 Dodge Rd~ Gravelly Hill. He apparently lived in Aston at the time of the 1871 and 1891 censuses (I cannot find him in the others).****I cannot find Dodge Rd on any map. Was it perhaps obliterated to make room for the renowned interchange?****Any help would be appreciated

  I am now living in Canada but as a boy I worked at the corner store in Shelfield as a paper boy. The store was owened by Les Rollinson and run by Brian (pasha) Downes. I beleive Brian is still running the store if not he lives just up the road in High Heath, Brian would now be about 63. The store is on the corner of Lichfield road and Mill road on the opposite corner to the Spring Cottage Pub. My initial interst was in the Cooper family. My ancestor Samuel Coper married a Hannah Stringer in 1820. She was from Sutton Coldfield. Her parents were Thomas and Elizabeth ( Price).**I believe she had sisters Mary~ Eliza~ Sarah~ Carolina and Jane. There was a Joseph Stringer who was a witness on the marriage certificate.**My family is now in Australia~ but I would love to find some living relatives in England.

I used to go to this school between 1951-1955 I lived at 31 Grosvenor road at the time a few of the teachers that I remember were Miss Lamb Headmistress Miss Swan Mrs Catell? and Miss Autry I also remember a girl called Maxine but unfortunately not her surname** regards Bob Deathridge

  I worked with a fellow named Rivett Raynor back in the late sixties in Walsall Rivett was then in his late sixties. Rivett lived just north of Aldridge near to Stonnall. Rivett was a top class carpenter and worked for John Shannon & Sons on George Street Walsall. I know the street he lived on, it was off the Chester road. I am desperately trying to research my Hazeldine ancestors many of whom were born in West Midlands...Birmingham~ Walsall~ and before that~ Wichnor~ Staffordshire and Waters Upton~ Shropshire. Variants of surname spelling are making my research difficult to conduct. Is there anyone out there who may be able to help me~ please? Is anyone able to point me in the direction of someone in the area with a good knowledge of local history. My maternal great grandmother gives Swan~ Stafford as her place of birth in the 1891 Census. I am trying~ then~ to find more family of Louisa Bradley (born 1861) who had moved to the Manchester area by the time she had a child - my grandmother Mary Ann.
