Looking for old friends from Padbury. I was a yank~ stationed at Upper Heyford in the 1957-1959 era. I remember Tony and Kathleen Blay and a chap named George--can't remember his last name. I believe the Blay children's father was in the service and Tony just came beck from Aden

I lived in Chichele Cottage Padbury with my family until 1978.We left the night my father Dick Workman died.He was the organist at padbury church.I would love to hear from anyone who remembers him or my family.I have many happy memories of Padbury and the time I spent growing up there. I am after information on the Roads Family~ particuarly from : Thomas ROADS ╖ Birth: 1600 in Middle Claydon~ Bucks.~ England~ His father is John ROADES also born in Middle Claydon. John was the Estate baliff to the Verney family in 1610. If anyone could advise me if the spelling of the family surname was changed or where to look further for John's father it would be appreciated. Thanks****

My g.g.grandfather~ John Peasland~ may have been born in Great Horwood~ Buckinghamshire around 1800. He moved to Coventry at some stage and married and raised a family there from around 1830. Are there any Peaslands/Payslands/Peaslons still living in Great Horwood?

i think my grandfather James Danniel Ginger came from mursley~ before moving to Suffolk~ born arround 1888~ could any one confirm this from church records~preheps or there might even be Gingers in the area? thanks.

I am researching my family history and understand that John Denney was born in Padbury 1786~ however married and moved to Tingewick.
