I have traced my family tree~ and believe it originated in Madresfield. It was Thomas or Robert Ligon~ the spelling was changed from Lygon when they emigrated to Virginia~ on or about 1630. Any information on this~ would be greatly appreciated!

My family is mostly English American and my surname is Beauchamp. We've traced our name back to around Baltimore~ Maryland and I think I might be related to Beauchamp's who lived in the Powick~ England area. I've been to England several times but never had a chance to visit the area~ and research some of this. Some of my family have traveled to Warwick England where the Beauchamp Earl's of Warwick were located. I also read of Beauchamp's in the Elmley Castle area. Of course~ when you go back that far it starts becoming Norman-esque and is "De Beauchamp" I don't know too much about Beauchamp history in Powick~ but I find historical genealogical information interesting.

Hi I hope you will be able to help me~ I am trying to research my family ancestors in England. I am related to a William Tombs (Toms~ Tomes~ Toombs) (our records show born abt 1828) who was transported to Tasmania Australia as a convict. Williams' father was George and mother Charlotte (nee Richardson who remarried twice after ( Joseph Hancox & Benjamin Jackson) ) i believe George & Charlotte were married about Nov 1819. I have the family tree from William down to me here in Australia but no details of his british family other than he was born in Worcester (native place Bromsgrove). You may be able to point me in the direction of someone who may know. Thank you Katrina (Toombs)

I am trying to find out any information about the Clarke family and Powell family that lived in leigh sinton. My gt granfather Harold Clarke married Gertrude May Powell in 1913. They had two children~ Gordon and Colin Clarke. She was widowed in 1924 and married a Reginald Griffiths . The Clarkes and the Powells were large families and i would be most grateful for any information on any members of these families. A John Powell married Florence Dyson in 1911 and emigrated to America.

My great~ great~ great grandmother was Ann Haywood from Leigh who married William Morgan from Malvern. They were married in the Leigh church. I believe that her family were long time residents from that area.**Of the Morgan children~ my great~ great grandmother was Emily Morgan that married James Madge~ from Devon~ UK~ and my great Grandmother was Sarah Emily Madge who married Frank George Geering from Kent~ UK.**My Grandmother~ Edith Madge Geering was born in Worcester~ UK in 1893.**We have had many early deaths in our family from an inheritary kidney disease dcalled Polycysitic Kidney Disease~ PKD. My grandmother was brought to Canada by her father after her Mother's early death in 1903.

Alderton John b1758 Great Massington Norfolk**Hi I am looking for any information about a John Alderton born in Great Massington Norfolk in 1758 he got married to a Sarah Reider/Reeder on the 7th November 1783 in great Massington Runcton. Sarah was born ABT 1762 Great Massington. I think he was my gggggrt grand father but I know nothing about him or his parents or even the children that he and sarah may have had.
