My Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandfather Alexander Saunders was married in Berkhampstead to Ann Umerson in February 1804. and then moved to Bayford where they had 9 children. On the 1851 census Alexander had a cousin living with him which suggests that his father (Thomas) had children and of course it is possible that Alexander had siblings. If anyone know anything of this family living in Bayford in the 17th & 18th century I would be grateful if they left a message on this forum.

My G G Granddad John Ward was born circa 1804, in we believe Roydon, he married an Eliza from Great Parndon and apparently live at The Fox latter The Fox and Goose. They had a son Frederick ward born 1855/6 who became my G Granddad.
I would be grateful if any one knows of, The Fox.or why they would be living there as he is noted as an Agricultural Labourer in the censuses.

My husbands g.g.g.g grandparents were John & Eliza Goodman.living at Westmill Rd. Ware. The 1841 census shows 10 children~among them Hannah who is my husbands g.g.g.grandmother. Hannah's brother Ephram~ emigrated to U.S.A~with young family in 1856. The othe names on the census are~Daniel b.1829~Easter b.1831~John b.1825~ Joseph b.1834~Rebecca b.1837~Simon b.1840 Benjm b.1836 & Stephen b.1833. I am searching for ancestors Lovell Augustus REEVE (1814-1865) and his wife **Martha REEVE.
