I am looking for information for Arthur Thomas Houfe married Eliza Tweddall 1900 @ Thirsk, had one child there then moved into Bishop Auckland where rest of children where born. Eliza died 1926. I believe the same Arthur T Houfe remarried to a Margaret Knaggs 1926 @ Darlington can anyone confirm this please? They lived Shildon & Heighington areas. Are you researching same families or heard the story that Arthur might have been born in Germany? Did this Arthur reside at Bay Tree Road, Darlington?

Is there anyone out there that has Thompson Bainbridge Grey in their family history? Thompson had at least two sons a Robert Paterson Grey and Charles W. Grey I would appreciate any help regard this family, regards Joan D'Arcy

  I have just e-mailed you through Genes Reunited. Thompson Bainbridge Grey was by 4th great grandfather, but I think you'll find that Robert was Robert Palister Grey.

• Hi Sandy.I have traced part of my family tree with the surname Heighington.It appears the family originated in Sedgefield,Co Durham.The name moved onto Sowerby Bridge,West Yorkshire (near Halifax) and then onto Sheffield working in the steel industry.A lot of Heighingtons around the turn of the century moved over to Canada where a lot of Heighingtons are around Ontario.I have relations named Heighington over there.Unfortunatly my lap top was stolen recently with all the details, so I have to start again !!
