My GG Aunt Bertha Phillips (b1860) was a cattle dealer~ 1881 Census~ who had a son name Joseph Phillips. Her parent's were William Perry Phillips and Emma (Sutton) Phillips. They lived at 5 Ritsons Road~ Benfieldside~ Durham. Looking to connect with any family of her's.

I live in Victoria~ Australia and my ancestors came from Barnard Castle~ Eggleston~ Stanhope and Alston~ Cumberland.**I am descended from Isaac Wailes (later Wales) who married Dorothy Dalkin in 1823. Dorothys parents were George Dalkin and Catherine Freak. **Isaac Wailes had a son John who married Frances Craig and he had a bootmakers shop in Stanhope. In 2004 it was a bakery and tea rooms.**Any information would be appreciated.**Janet Wason
