Hi**I am trying to trace my great grandmother~ Frances Whiting.**She was born in Neacroft in 1897/98. Her father was William Whiting. She also had three brothers~ William~ Thomas and Frederick? She was fostered by a Mrs Norris at some point~ and possibly had links with a religious school/ nunnery???**Her father was a bandsman (musician) in the Bournemouth area~ and he may have changes the family name from Shepherd.**Any info~ I would be most greatful. Thankyou.

hi just like to say what a great site this is~ to think that all you have to do is put in an area and find out what that place is all about so much information~ better than reading a tourist guide book~ its so much more alive~ oh well got to go ~ think i will pop in to another resort.....
