I am trying to find information about my Grandfather Mr Joseph F Hulley. I have very little information. I belive he was born in Hawarden, Flintshire in July, August or September of 1930.
I know he went on to marry Jean Lillian Hughes(deceased) in April, May or June of 1950, in Poplar. They went onto have a daughter in December of 1950 and then a son in September 1952. They must have separated some time after this.
Links to Wales and the travelling community have been highlighted although not confirmed. Any further information no matter how big or small would be really appreciated.

I am looking for any information about my Great Grandfather, Aaron Maddocks. In 1871 he was working as a farm assistant at Fox Coven Farm, Wervin, Cheshire. In 1891 he had a family and was living at 6 Woodland Road, Broughton, Wrexham. By 1911 he had moved to 19 Black Lane Road, Broughton, Wrexham.

In particular, I am interested in Aaron's birth; his parents; where he was laid to rest.

I am looking for any details regarding the birth and parents of my Great Grandfather, Aaron Maddocks who, I am lead to believe, was born in Lower Kinnerton, Cheshire in circa 1853. He married firstly, Mary Evans in 1874 and then Catherine Airth nee Millington in 1884.

• Hi Jacqueline, thank you for replying. My Grandfather was one of the 10 children, John Arthur Maddocks. All I have about your Grandmother Selina is that she was born in 1888 and married John Weatherall in 1917 in Bury, Greater Manchester.

I am researching a Mary E Roberts who is listed in the 1901 Census that she was born approx 1864 in Summerhill Denbighshire she married a local lad John Allington b@1860 from Brymbo~ Denbighshire~ Wales.****I would ideally like to make contact with any living relatives or find someone that might be researching these names.****Mary's daughter Bertha (my grandmother) came to New Zealand on holiday in the 1920's and family rumor has it that she got so seasick she never went home.

Hi I am looking for anyone who may have known a Palin family who lived in Mold Junction in the 1920's.**My Grandmother and her sister were born here and my Grandmother lived with her Grandmother Lillian Law (?) in North Street. Their names were Eunice and Dorothy.**My Great Grandmother was called Winifred.**I know that my Great Great Grandmother Lillian was in service and the my Great Grandfather Bill was a Blacksmith by trade then went into the Merchant Navy in WW1. After the war he worked on ships as a steward. **They had two cousins called Donald and Douglas.**Both girls went to St davids I think~ then onto Harwarden Grammar School.**My Grandmother Eunice also played and danced in a band called the Regal Dance band.**Just before WW2 she worked in an office in Chester and was frequently on fire watch with a girl from her office.****Any information or memories would be really appreciated. Both my Grandmother and my aunt are alive and well approaching their 90's.

Does anyone know anything about the Griffiths family from Penyffordd I know ther used to be an Agnes Griffiths about 1907and a Fred Dean my uncle Sam Collins married in the parish church of Hope Emily Charlottte Starmer in 1907 .**Clive

  Marjorie Jones was my beloved mother! I also stumbled upon your postings on another site requesting information about the Jolleys but I couldn't fathom how to reply. Marjorie died in 1996, she married my dad, Cyril Davies who was indeed in the RAF. I think your grandmother was my great aunty Catherine. My mother adored her and talked about her a great deal. My grandmother was Letitia Jones (ne Jolley). I have two sisters: Susan (who lives in Australia) and Katie. We all have children too. I hope this helps.Best wishes Tess

I am seeking info about the family of my gt-gt grandmother-Hannah Rowlands b.1830 Hawarden/Buckley. She married Joses Ellis(Chester~St.John)in 1850.In mid 1850's to early 1860's they lived in Oswestry area but were living in Chester (Brook St.)from 1860's until Joses died in 1891.I think Hannah returned to Hawarden after this~ and later married another Joe Ellis.**She must have lived well into her eighties~ because my mother(b.1911)could just remember her.**I would be very grateful for any info on Hannah and/or the Rowland family.**Thanks
