I lived in Inverurie until 1968 when I was married and now live in Aberdeen. I went to Market Place School and then Inverurie Academy. Any people out there who remember me ? i am now 62 years old.

Searching Ancestors in the area. Anyone related to the following families of the period prior to 1830 please contact me. More~ Moir~ Davidson~ Ferguson~ Alexander~ Davie~ Bifset~ McKenzie or Cocker. Connection to Chapel of Garioch~ Rescivit~ Oyne~ Glass~ Durno~ Leggats Den (legatsden) or Inveramsay areas. I am particularly interested in a James More (later Moir) born between 1779 and 1786 and who had a sister Helen More who married Jonathon Davie in 1817. James More married Janet Davidson of Oyne December 1817 and had a number of children christened in the Chapel of Garioch parish. Both parties were married in Chapel of Garioch

We are looking for a cottage~ two bedrooms on the outskirt of Inverurie - no stairs if possible. I read that somone is looking for people who knew Claire Webster of East Cattie **Croft. I knew her~ was her lecturer at Aberdeen University. However I cannot **respond directly to the enquiry through this message board as~ due to the way **my email is set up (I am abroad) I cannot access the enquirer unless I know the **exact email address of the person making the enquiry/**Please contact me at thejjgreeners@aol.com.**I know a number of people who will remember Claire who is buried in Tarves **Churchyard. Her loss was keenly felt.
