I am researching my mothers family maiden name Cowley they spent most their life in Crick~ around the 1850 to early 1900 both Gt Grandfather and Gt Gt Grandfather was the local blacksmith and one of the Aunts run the local sweet shop ~would be greatfull if any one has family connections. Or any infomation that has been passed down.

My great grandfather~ JOSEPH SMITH~ was born in Kilsby in 1833 and his father JOHN~ and grandfather~ also JOHN~ before him. They were christened in the Independent Chapel. My great grandather married a DINAH ALLEN but I have been unable to trace any record off this event or indeed Dinah's baptism.****I'd be glad of any information.****Sheila Morris.********************************************************************************************************************

My Great Grandmother on my father's side was a Mary Hannah Arthur...she was born in 1860 in Yelvertoft...she married William Henry Waite in Southam in 1886....they had 4 chiuldren~ Eva ( my grandmother) Rosa~ William and Dorothy....they reside in the Daventry and the Long Buckby area...I've can't track Mary after 1909....can anyone assist me....thanks.....Gerry Oliver Ottawa Ontario Canada

I am researching my great-grandfather's family from Braunston. My great-grandfather's name was Henry James Good and he was born to Henry Good(e) and Hannan Saul (also known as Heath) in 1868. Hannah passed away in 1871 and I do not know where his father went at that time~ as Henry Jr. was sent to live with an aunt in London.****Henry's grandmother Alice Saul may have married a man by the name James Heath after 1856. Both James Heath and Alice's first husband James Saul were boatmen.
