Hi, I am looking for information about my ancestors, Timothy Jones and his son Isaac Jones who were landlords of the Treago Arms Inn in the 1850's to 1870's as well as being farm bailiff on the Treago Estate. I would be very interested in contacting any descendants.

I am researching my family history and I have obtained my Grandads birth certificate. He was born JOHN STANLEY REES 03 MAR 1921 in FOWNHOPE~ Herefordshire. His father is detailed as JOHN JOSEPH REES and his mother~ ELIZA ELIZABETH CRUTCHLEY. It gives the resident address as TUMP COTTAGE~ FOWNHOPE which has led me to this site. If anyone recognises this name~ or indeed anything about Tump Cottage around this time~ then please get in touch.

Family stories indicate that my great grandfather~ Francis Charles Clifford~ was a watchmaker from Wilton. He would have been around 35-45 years old in 1900~ and had children Albert (born March 1883) and daughter Kit. Can anybody help~ please?

Looking for people in connection with the Barnes family who lived in Cheltenham~ Gloucestershire from the late 1920s/early 1930s. Head of family Isaac Robinson Barnes~ tailor~ b. abt 1890 and his wife Victoria Barnes (nee Davey). They moved to Cheltenham from Ross-on-Wye~ Herefordshire after 1928 and were married in Portsmouth~ Hampshire in 1923. It's very likely John was originally from Ireland~ possibly Cookstown in County Tyrone. His mother was Margaret. Had sons John Barnes~ Richard Barnes and Geoffrey Barnes. Any help would be appreciated.
