Angela Claydon
Shotwick, Cheshire (1.9 miles away)
I have spent years researching my family tree. My ancestors lived in Shotwick, the furthest back being George Truman, b abt 1750, who married Sarah Lewis in 1774 in Shotwick church. Several of their family are buried in Shotwick church (theoldest ones very near the gate). I can't find anything about where george (and possibly his brother Job) were from. Has anyone else done any research into the Trumans or have any details. My tree is on ancestry, called Truman Turner under my name. Thanks very much Angela Claydon

Dear Yvette
Marjorie Jones was my beloved mother! I also stumbled upon your postings on another site requesting information about the Jolleys but I couldn't fathom how to reply. Marjorie died in 1996, she married my dad, Cyril Davies who was indeed in the RAF. I think your grandmother was my great aunty Catherine. My mother adored her and talked about her a great deal. My grandmother was Letitia Jones (ne Jolley). I have two sisters: Susan (who lives in Australia) and Katie. We all have children too. I hope this helps.Best wishes Tess
