Looking for any information on my Great-Grandfather Dennis Neal and Elizabeth Neal ( formerly Hurst). Finding it very difficult to find any records on him. I know he was a Butler at a house in Barkers lane~ Melton. After that he disappears from the census and their son ( my grandfather-Arthur edward neal) was sent to London to stay with family at the age of 5 and they were never heard of again. Ideally would like to get to Melton to research locally but is too far for me.**Any information on the family or the house welcome**

Would love to hear from anyone who has information about the LOWE family who lived in 4 BROOK ST.~ MELTON MOWBRAY from approx. 1914. THOMAS and JEANNIE LOWE were parents of MAGGIE HEATHER nee LOWE~ ANNIE ORRIDGE nee LOWE~ LIZZIE LUCAS nee LOWE and SAMUEL LOWE.**LIZZIE LOWE married CYRIL LUCAS and had as far as I know a RAY LUCAS b. 1929 approx. and MARJORIE LUCAS b. 1938 approx. **Would love to hear from any descendents of the Lucas family from Melton Mowbray and also descendents of Samuel Lowe as well.

looking for any info on the Veasey family from Melton Mowbray and Wymondham. My gt grandmother was Lucy Ann Veasey and her parents were William and Fanny. The name Veasey also had many other variants like~ Veze~ Vesey~ and Veasy.

Many years ago I used to live in Edmondthorpe~ I attended the local school and I remember that the teachers name was Mrs Rossitor (?spelling). This would have been about 1940/1.****We lived in a house just below the Hall~ and I remember a bomb dropping on the road between our house and the Hall.
