I'm looking for information on my family. I am related to Thomas McIndoe (b. 5/7/1712) whose wife was Janet Barton. They had a son~ John McIndoo (b. 6/14/1733) who married Bertha Boyd. They had a son~ John McIndoo (b. 3-13-1765) who married Charity Heady. I could go on~ but it gets quite lengthy. Would also like to know if there are any living family members in Strathblane-Stirlingshire.

Greetings from Canada: I am researching my ancestors who lived in Rowantreefauld~ Lennoxtown in 1895 and 1896 but perhaps longer. Hugh McFadyen born about 1870 married Annie McIvor on Feb 2~ 1892 in Saint Johnston~ Donegal near Londonderry~ Ireland. ****A son~ Charles was born to them on May 21~ 1895 in Rowantreefauld~ Lennoxtown~ registrar Malcolm Baird. Hugh McFadyen died on Dec 13~ 1896 age 26 years~ in Rowantreefauld~ Registrar M. Baird. His parents were Charles McFadyen occupation-carter~ deceased and Rebecca Fleming~ deceased. ****I would very much appreciate any information or suggestions anyone may have to help me find these ancestors.****Sincerely~ Helen Wyse****

An ancestor~ Robert McFarlane~ was a teacher in Campsie in the early 1800s. I am hopeful that his name may be on old school records and I would be grateful for any information.**He married Jean Scott (herself born in Campsie) in 1811. My great grandfather~ Thomas McFarlane~ was born in Campsie in that same year.
