I have received the death certificate for my Great Great Great Grandmother~ Dorothy Merrifield Goudge~ who was born in 1793 and died on 2 June 1873. Her last address was 23 North Street in Fowey~ Tywardreath~ St. Austell~ Cornwall~ England~ where she lived with her granddaughter~ Elizabeth Pascoe. My sister and I plan to visit Tywardreath in the future~ and we would love to know where Dorothy is buried. We live in the United States so research is limited. I am looking for information regarding the Ellis and Mein family. Margaret Ellis from Orchards and Grove~ Cornwall (not sure where this is) married Dr. Thomas Mein(b. 1750 in Eildon Hall~ Melrose~ Roxburghshire) from the Roxburghshire area. The majority of their children were born in Fowey in the late 1700s. **Does anyone know where Orchards and Grove is located? I also have a painting of a Naval person who resembles Margaret Ellis. I think it may be her brother or father.
