I am trying to trace ancestors for my family tree and would like to know if anyone has any information on a Thomas Squire believed to have been born in Frieston~ Lincs in about 1795. He married a Sarah Lusby who was born in Grimsby in 1801. His occupation in his younger years is listed as a compositor. If anyone has any information on him~ his wife or any of his ancestors prior to 1795~ I would very much like to hear from you. Thank you.

I would be very grateful for any **information regarding the past and living family of Clement **Dowlman.born in 1868~ the son ofCornelius **Dowlman~ a farmer from Wrangle. ## I think the lived on a **farm&Gatriam Lane.Clement married my **husbands great grandmother~ Selina Bartonon December **1st 1891~ exactly 2 years to the day she gave birth to her son Henry **Barton. ## We know she did not raise Harry (as he was known)~because **he lived with his grandmother~ Hannah Barton in Melbourne. ## We know Selina **and Clement lived for a while in Skipton Yorkshire and Stapenhill~ **Burton-upon-Trent. ## They had a son they also named Clement~ born on 17th **May 1899 but this child died a year later.They also had other **children and we know of Nellie who died age 13~ John who also died and we think **other children who may have died in infancy.Clement worked **as a Brewery Shunter in Burton-upon-Trent. ## They lived at 59 Hill Street~ **Stapenhill~ it was in the Counties of Stafford and Derby.If anyone **could help me it would fill quite a few gaps as Harry never spoke about his **childhood and all through my moter-in-laws life~ she always assumed he was a **foundling because he hadn't got a mother. ## She spoke of a 'Grandma' **Phillips from Burton who they used to visit ##when she was a child.PLEASE~ PLEASE DO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME IF YOU KNOW OF ANY **DOWLMAN'S. ## AND PLEASE ##DO NOT WORRY ABOUT OUR INTEREST~ IT IS **GENUINE ## RESEARCH FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN FINDING OUT ABOUT MY HUSBANDS **FAMILY HISTORY.I look forward to hearing from you all.**Regards Alice Gibbons

My Grandmother Alice Taylor~ was born in Benington in 1871. Daughter of John and Matilda Taylor. She had 2 sisters and 2 brothers. All 3 daughters went to London to work in "service". Does anyone know of~ or have any information on the family? Are any buried in Benington churh graveyard? Are their any Taylors still living in Benington?
